UP-CIFAL Philippines serves as panelist for #TeachLove4SDGs online event

25 September 2020–In support of the Global Goals Week and the Decade of Action, UP-CIFAL Philippines served as a panelist in the online event, “#TeachLove4SDGs: Educating the Youth for SDG Action.”

Christine Sanchez, program officer of UP-CIFAL Philippines, emphasised the importance of teaching, understanding, and living the sustainable development goals (SDGs) to at least 70 local and international students.

Other panelists from Foundation University and youth organisations Love Education Philippines and Streets to Schools shared various teaching methods and strategies used by formal and non-formal educational institutions in educating young people about the 2030 Agenda.

#TeachLove4SDGs was organized by Project YAKAP (Youth Advocacy and Knowledge-Access Program) on Education for Global Citizenship, Online SDG Youth Action Forum, and YouLead Initiative.
