UP-CIFAL Philippines, JCI sign letter of understanding for SDG capacity building roadshow

4 December 2019, Quezon City, Philippines—UP-CIFAL Philippines and Junior Chamber International (JCI) Philippines-Palawan Region with Iconick Travels and Events signed a letter of understanding to conduct a roadshow on sustainable development goals (SDGs) for local government units, non-government organisations, and the academe from different regions nationwide.

The series of SDG capacity building will be held from January-September 2020 in Palawan, Bicol, Metro Manila, Metro Cebu and Metro Davao. 

Present in the signing were UP-CIFAL Philippines Director Dr. Edna Co, JCI Palawan Regional Vice President Paula Nikole Prado (also Iconick Travels and Events proprietor) and UP-CIFAL Philippines staff as witnesses.

Under the agreement, UP-CIFAL Philippines will provide the resource persons for the SDG capacity building, with full logistical support and contributions from JCI.

The SDG capacity building roadshow is in line with the United Nations’ Capacity for the 2030 Agenda.
