UP CIFAL Philippines, ILO PH affirm partnership on labour migration, sustainable dev’t

12 August 2019, MAKATI, PHILIPPINES—UP-CIFAL Philippines held a meeting with the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Philippines to affirm the partnership on labour migration and sustainable development.

In addition to ILO’s support in the ongoing Professional Course on Global Migration, both organisations explore possibilities on the sustainability of such course as well as cascading the same to labour migration players at the local level.  

Present in the meeting were ILO Philippines Director Khalid Hassan; Rex Varona, national project coordinator of the Safe and Fair Programme of the ILO Philippines; and Hussein Macarambon, national project coordinator of the Fair Recruitment Project of the ILO Philippines.
