UP-CIFAL Philippines, Keep the Change: Youth Policy Lab hold SDGs4Youth for SK leaders

17 May 2025—UP-CIFAL Philippines with the Keep the Change: Youth Policy Lab successfully held the “Leaders for Global Goals, a Sustainable Development Goals Orientation for the Youth (SDGs4Youth)”, an orientation aimed to provide a platform for young people to build their sense of ownership and continue momentum for global action to ensure that no one is left behind.

Held under the U-Konek: Youth Initiatives for Collaborative Civic Education program, SDGs4Youth equipped participants with key knowledge and skills to lead SDG-aligned initiatives. The program combined lectures and interactive workshops, offering background on the SDGs, case studies of youth participation, and a situationer on the Philippines’ progress toward the goals.

Participants concluded the session by developing project plans aligned with their chosen SDGs, fostering actionable commitments to local and national development efforts.

SDGs4Youth is a partner session of U-Konek, which empowers Filipino youth to understand the policy environment and engage meaningfully in governance and civic processes.
